About This Role

The Chief Communications Officer is responsible for our external image and affiliations. They oversee all of our relations and engagements, ensuring that all external messaging and corporate growth strategies align with the CEO's long-term vision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Spartan52's external image, relations, and affiliations
• Ensure external messaging aligns with corporate growth strategy and leadership vision
• Oversee all external engagements on behalf of the organization
• Guide communications strategy across Spartan52's platforms

Basic Qualifications

• Strong communications and relationship-building skills
• Experience overseeing messaging or external relations, in a professional or volunteer capacity
• Comfortable operating at a leadership level in a remote, volunteer organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in communications, PR, or a related field
• Familiarity with the Spartan52 brand and community

Required Education

• No formal education required; relevant leadership or communications experience strongly preferred
